Maintenance and Service

Energy saving

Knowing  that  you  will  not  use  the  refrigerator  for  a  longer  period  of
time:

•

Set the temperature control dial to „0” and unplug the ap plian ce.

•

 Empty the appliance.

•

Clean and dry the freezer. Wash carefully all the accessories .

•

Leave  the  refrigerator  door  slightly  open  to  prevent  the  chambers  from  getting

unpleasant smell.

Maintenance

•

Periodically, once or twice a year, use a vacuum cleaner to dust the evaporator

(black bars) located in the back of the freezer.

Before the cleaning, turn off the main swith (Phot.3(2)) and unplug the ap plian ce.

Make sure you do not da ma ge the electric wires, the protection boxes and the capillary

tube while cleaning.

•

You may come across small problems while using the freezer that you can

repair yourself.

•

By repairing yourself any problems except the ones listed in the table below

inevitably waives the guarantee rights.

•

Place the freezer away from heat sources (such as radiators and ovens (Phot. 5).

•

Make sure air can circulate freely around the freezer - do not block the ventilation grid

•

Defrost when there are ice deposits. Thick layer of ice hampers cold transition

to the food and increases electric energy consumption.

•

Keep the door open as shortly as possible when putting in or taking out food. The

shorter the time the less ice will deposit on the evaporator.

•

Storage of food in the freezer for periods shorter than suggested on page 9 allows

you to use lower settings of the freezer dial - „3” - „5”.

•

Adjust the dial setting to the degree the freezer is filled up to.
