the  front  right  cooking  zone

Deactivating the function

Press the same keys you used for activating the function
simultaneously. The key symbol will go off.

Instructions:
An  activated child safety  device/ lock  will  remain  activated  even  if
the  hob  is  switched  off.  It  must  therefore  be  deactivated  when
cooking is recommenced.
In the event of a power cut the childproof lock will be cancelled, i.e.
deactivated.

Booster setting

The  booster  setting  makes  additional  power  available  for  the
induction cooking zones. A large quantity of water can be brought
to the boil very quickly.
The booster setting operates for 10 minutes, after which the power
level is automatically reduced to power setting 10.

1.  Select power setting 10.
2.  Press the

Plus  key

.  The  power  setting  display  lights  up

red and “Booster” is shown.

3.  After  10  minutes  the  booster  setting  will  switch  off

automatically.  The  power  setting  display  appears  as  it
normally  does  again  and  shows  power  setting  10;  the
power level is reduced to power setting 10.

Please note: In order to prematurely deactivate the booster setting,

press  the

Minus  key

.  The  power  level  will  be  reduced  to  power

setting 10.

Power management

For technical reasons, the two left cooking zones are combined to
form  an  electronic  unit  with  a  limited  power  output.  The  same
applies for the two right cooking zones.
If  the  maximum  power  range  is  exceeded  (for  example,  when  the
booster  function  is  switched  on),  the  power  management  system
will take account of the most recent entry made by the user, to the
disadvantage of the corresponding cooking zone.
This  means  that  the  power  output  of  the  second  cooking  zone  is
automatically  reduced.  This  is  why  the  highest  power  setting
permitted by the electronic unit will be shown in the display.
