Automatic on/off function of the 21-cm cooking 
zone (start control) 

This automatic function can be used to switched on the 21-cm cooking zone
at a specified time. After the programmed cooking time has expired the cook-
ing zone will be switched off.

1. Press the 

ON/OFF key

 

.

2. Then immediately press the 

Plus key

 and the 

Minus key

 

 

of the

timer

 

 simultaneously. The power level display (left) and the timer dis-

play (right) will blink.  

3. To follow immediately: 

Setting the clock

Set the current time of day with the 

Plus key 

 / Minus key 

 of the

timer

 

 (left - hours; right - minutes).

The time of day can be set as long as the display blinks. After a break in
activation the display will light up constantly and it will no longer be possi-
ble to change the time of day. A buzzer will sound briefly as a request to
enter the next setting.
Note:
The time may already be present.

4. To follow immediately: 

Setting the finish time

Set the finish time with the 

Plus key 

 / Minus key 

 of the timer

 (left - hours; right - minutes).

Example: 12.15 p.m.
After a break in activation the display will light up and a buzzer will sound
briefly.

5. To follow immediately: 

Setting the cooking time

Set the cooking time with the 

Plus key 

 / Minus key 

 of the timer

 (maximum of 99 minutes).

Example: 45 minutes
After a break in activation the display will light up and a buzzer will sound
briefly.

6. To follow immediately: 

Adjusting the setting

Set a power level from 1 to 6 with the 

Plus key 

 / Minus key

  

for

the power settings.
A short signal will sound. The cooking setting display indicates

7. Put 

cookware suitable for induction cooking

 onto the cooking zone.

The cooking zone will switch on automatically at the time programmed
and will switch off again when the time has lapsed.

Instructions:
• This automatic function is only intended for trained users with experience in

cooking the specific dish. The cooking time and the appropriate power set-
ting must be known in advance.
