9) CONVERSION TO DIFFERENT TYPES
OF GAS
Burners can be used with different types of gas by
changing to suitable nozzles. To replace them,
open the unit (see paragraph 10) and unscrew the
air regulator “C”. Using a straight “B” spanner
unscrew and remove nozzle “A” (see fig. 12/A)
and fit the new nozzle, clamping it tight. Set the
distance “X” (fig. 12) as shown in the “AIR
REGULATION” table below.
Do not regulate the machine while the power
cable is still attached.
After regulation or presetting, the technician
should replace all the seals.
After switch-over to another type of gas
regulate the primary air (see fig. 12/A).
For the sake of convenience, the nominal rate table
also lists the heat inputs of the burners, the
diameter of the injectors and the working pressures
of the various types of gas.
