High voltage transformer
• Secondary winding terminal is on short circuit.
• The transformer windings are on open circuit.
• If the fuse does not blow immediately
but just after some seconds, then
one of the transformer terminals
maybe on short circuit-> Replace the
high voltage transformer.
• Check the continuity of the primary
and secondary coil. If there isn’t any
continuity, the transformer is
defective. Replace the high voltage
transformer.
High voltage capacitor
• Defect isolation between the capacitor terminals.
• Capacitor on short circuit.
• Check the continuity between the
terminals of the transformer. If there
is continuity, the capacitor is
defective. Replace the high voltage
capacitor.
• Check the continuity between the
terminals of the capacitor and the
carcass, with the cables
disconnected. If there is continuity,
the capacitor is defective. Replace
the high voltage capacitor.
