Automatic boost function
Parboiling takes place at power level 9 with the automatic boost function.
After a certain time the power level will switch down automatically to a lower
simmering setting (1 to 8).
When using the automatic boost function only the simmering setting with
which the food is to be cooked through needs to be selected since the
electronic unit switches down automatically. The automatic boost function is
suitable for dishes which are cold initially and are then heated up at high
power. These dishes do not need to be constantly monitored when simmering
(e.g. boiling meat for soups).
When a cooking zone was switched off and is then switched on, activation of
the automatic parboil mode will depend on which power level (1, 2, 3… 9) is
immediately set.
Using the automatic boost function (power levels
1 to 5)
1. The cooking zone is switched off.
2. Press the
touch control
on the right to directly set power
levels 6, 7, 8 or 9.
3. Then immediately move the finger you have placed onto the
touch
control
to the left to set simmering levels 1 to 5.
This will activate the automatic boost function.
The decimal point will light up and simmering settings 1 to 5 will be
shown.
4. The automatic boost function will operate as programmed. After a certain
time (see chart) the cooking process will be continued with the simmering
setting. The decimal point will go off.
Using the automatic boost function (power levels
6 to 8)
1. The cooking zone is switched off.
2. Press the
touch control
on the right to immediately set power
levels 6, 7 or 8.
This will activate the automatic boost function. The decimal point will light
up and simmering settings 6 to 8 will be shown.
3. The automatic boost function will operate as programmed. After a certain
time (see chart) the cooking process will be continued with the simmering
setting. The decimal point will go off.
Switch on power levels 6 to 9 (without the
automatic boost function)
1. The cooking zone is switched off.
2. Press the
touch control
on the left to immediately set power
levels 1 to 5.
3. Then move the finger you have placed onto the
touch control
to the right to set your power level between 6 and 9 without
the automatic boost function.
