Operating the keys

The controls described here expect the pressing of a (selection) key 

to be

followed

 by the pressing of a subsequent key.

The next key will need to be pressed 

within 10 seconds

, otherwise the

selection will be deleted.

Switching on the hob and cooking zones

1. Press the 

ON key

 

 until the power setting displays indicate 0. A short 

signal will sound. The controls are ready for operation.

2. Then immediately touch the 

Plus-Minus key

 

 on the left, in the 

middle or on the right.
The power levels will be activated direct with the pre-selector stage: 

..... Left ............................... Power level 1
..... Middle .......................... Power level 5
..... Right ............................ Power level 9

The selected power level will be shown in the power level display.

3. Put a 

cooking pot

 onto the cooking zone.

4. Touch the 

Plus-Minus key

 

 to change the power level setting. 

The display will move up or down.

Repeat items 2 to 4 in order to cook on other cooking zones at the same time.

Switching off a cooking zone

5. a) Select power setting 1. If the 

Plus-Minus key

 

 is pressed for 

approx. 2 seconds in the minus range, the cooking zone will switch off. 
The power setting display will show 0.

b) Press the 

Plus-Minus key

 

 simultaneously on the left and the 

right. The power setting display will show 0.

c) Press the 

OFF key

 

. The entire hob will be switched off (all of the 

cooking zones are switched off).

Switching off the hob

6. Press the 

OFF key

 

. The hob will be completely switched off, irrespec-

tive of any settings.

Note:

The hob will remain on standby for another minute when all the cooking
zones are switched off. After one minute the hob will be completely switched
off and the buzzer will sound briefly.
