For optimal system operation, the burner should cycle as little as possible. It is more economical to let the
boiler run at a low load for a long time than to have it continually stopping and re-starting. We therefore
recommend to first set the burner to about 75% of the maximum permissible boiler capacity, because the
building only actually requires the calculated heat load for a very few days every year. On these days, the
burner can be set to the maximum permissible boiler capacity via the menu.
These displayed output values refer to a pellet weight of 675 g/litre and a calorific value of 4.8 kWh/kg.
When using pellets with a different volumetric weight or calorific value, the corresponding values for
volumetric weight and calorific value must be adjusted to compensate for differences in heating per-
formance and combustion values. However, this is generally only the case when 8 mm pellets are used
instead of 6 mm pellets (standard). Using good quality pellets ensures a high degree of operational safety
and efficiency.

The patented moveable base in the burner combustion chamber scrapes slag and dirt from the combustion
chamber and transfers them into the ash pan. The burner is automatically cleaned if either the boiler
thermostat is triggered or a specified amount of pellets has been consumed. The moveable grate is moved
in and out. This means that the brazier is cleaned before every re-start or after a specified number of
metered pellet charges.
