1. Turn the wing nut (fi g. 1) counterclockwise
to reduce the braking force of the freewheel
brake.
2. Turn the knob for the reel lock (fi g. 2) while
holding on to the push rod or reel. The lock
pin releases the reel.
3. Slightly unreel the push rod and turn the
knob for the reel lock (fi g. 2) to set the reel
lock again.
4. Connect the camera socket to the push
rod’s plug. Make sure the connecting pins
are positioned correctly (fi g. 3).
5. When screwing the plug-and-socket
connection together, it is imperative that
you hold the camera tight and turn the
reel’s sleeve only (fi g. 4).
Only hand-tighten the sleeve

Dismounting
To dismount the camera, proceed in the reverse order.

Property damage due to faulty mounting!
Failure to observe points 4 and 5 may cause damage to the plug-and-socket
connection.
