8. Electrical Start 

WARNING Poisonous  liquid  sulfuric acid  inside battery. Tilting generator set with  battery  may 

result in sulfuric acid leakage. 

Keep children away from the unit. 
Avoid liquid acid from touching your skin or eyes. 

CAUTION

 If the unit is not to be used for long time, please disconnect the positive pole of the 

battery and have the pole wrapped up with insulated tape. 

 

8.1 Starting the Unit (Please consult Chapter 5 for relevant instructions) 

Turn the ignition switch to START position for 2-3 seconds. 

CAUTION

    If  the  unit  cannot  be  started  within  10  seconds,  please  release  the  key  for  10 

seconds  and  repeat  the  previous  operation  to  avoid  power  lack.  If  the  unit  still 
cannot be started, please consult Chapter Troubleshooting. 

 

8.2 Operation methods same as Chapter 6 
 
8.3 Stopping the Unit 

8.3.1 For emergency 
Directly turn the ignition switch key to OFF position. 
8.3.2 For normal condition 
8.3.2.1 Turn off the AC breaker and unplug all the loads 
8.3.2.2 Run the unit for several minutes without load to cool down the generator set. 
8.3.2.3 Set the ignition switch to OFF position 
8.3.2.4 Set the fuel switch to OFF position   
 

8.4 Replacement of the Battery 

If your unit can be started by recoil start, but cannot be started by electrical start, please run the unit 
with recoil  start and have  your battery charged for 20 minutes. If the unit still cannot be started by 
electrical start, please have the battery replaced as follows. 
8.4.1 Disconnect the positive and negative poles of the battery with wires. 
8.4.2 Remove the battery hold-down plate. 
8.4.3 Install a new battery and the hold-down plate.
