8. 4 Attaching solid fertiliser broadcaster to the tractor
8.4.1 Requirements
Check the following points in particular:

Are the tractor and the solid fertiliser broadcaster safe to operate?

Does the tractor comply with the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical require-
ments? (see
„Tractor requirements“ on page 37 ).

Do the attachment categories of the tractor and solid fertiliser broadcaster
match (consult the dealer if necessary)?

Is the solid fertiliser broadcaster securely positioned on a firm, level surface?

Do the axle loadings conform to the stipulated calculations (see
„Axle load calculation“ on page 29 )?

Danger from unsuitable tractor
Use of an unsuitable tractor for the solid fertiliser broadcaster of
the AXIS series can lead to the severest accidents during opera-
tion and transport.
Use only tractors that comply with the technical requirements of
the solid fertiliser broadcaster.
 Check the vehicle documentation to make sure that your
tractor is suitable for the solid fertiliser broadcaster of the
AXIS series.
