7. When using the grill it is normal for the top of the oven to be hot to the touch
8. When using the grill it could be a carbon deposit at the utensil surface. It is better
to use a glass utensil specifically designed for using with microwave ovens.
9. Always use potholders to prevent burns when handling utensils that are in
contact with hot food.
10. Do not overcook food. Food severely overcooked can smoke or ignite. If
food inside the oven should ignite, keep oven door closed, turn oven off
and disconnect the power cord or set the timer in «0» position and shut
off the power.
Recommendations
1. During cooking it is important to allow the steam to escape. Always use
only open containers. Never use ordinary plastic bags for cooking in your
microwave oven, as they will melt and rupture.
2. Puncture egg yolks before cooking. Pierce skins of potatoes, apples,
squash, hot dogs, sausages etc. so that steam escapes.
3. Use deep bowl, when cooking liquids to prevent boilovers. The distance
between the bowel edge and liquid level must be not less then 3.5 cm.
4. For best cooking result pay your attention to initial temperature and amount
of food. Size and form of utensil also matters.
5. Do not overcook food. When heating food, stop heating when steam
appears.
6. If you heat the food that packed in plastic film or paper please watch the
cooking process. The food may overheat and catch fire.
7. Do not use your microwave oven to cook food in deep fat.
8. Do not use a plastic utensil when you cooking food that contains a large
amount of fat or sugar.
4. Do not remove the oven feet to avoid air circulation failure.
5. Do not place your microwave oven near TV, radio receivers and other
electronic devices. Radio interference is not a sign of malfunction or
incorrect operation. It is a normal phenomena allowable by international
standards. Should there be any interference caused by the microwave
oven to your radio or TV, check that the microwave and relocate the radio
or TV as far away from the oven as feasible.
6. This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit,
grounding reduces risk of electric shock.

Before using your
microwave oven, read the following
information:
1. This microwave oven is specifically designed to heat, cook or dry food.
2. The food must always be placed in the oven when it is on, in order to
absorb the microwave energy. Never operate the oven without food in it;
this can damage the magnetron tube.
3. Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door closed improperly
since open-door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave
energy.
4. When choosing utensils for cooking, follow the recommendations
(pages 48–49).
