SETTING UP

Some of the mower parts were packed separately.
Read the following procedure to properly assemble
the mower.

PRE-ASSEMBLY

Take out all mower components from the case and check
the parts as shown in the figure.

SETTING UP THE MOWER

1. Attach the front gauge wheels to the arms of the deck

with the clevis pins and snap rings.

A

There is a directional punch mark on the top of the
front wheel shaft.
This punch mark must be facing in the direction of
forward travel to function properly. Failure to do so
may result in premature wear or improper function of
the gauge wheels.

A

Check the tire inflation pressure. See the "FRONT
GAUGE WHEEL [TIRES]" section in this manual for
the recommended tire pressure.
