5. Open the fuel shutoff-valve.
IMPORTANT :
• When assembling the parts, be careful that
no dirt or dust contacts them.
• Be sure to install the cover securely.
• After assembly, be sure to bleed the air from
the fuel system. (See Bleeding fuel system
on page 131.)

1. Changing engine oil
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or death:
• Be sure to stop the engine before changing the
oil.
• Allow the engine to cool down sufficiently; oil
can be hot and can burn.
1. To drain the used oil, remove the drain plug at the
bottom of the engine and drain the oil completely
into the oil pan.
2. After draining, reinstall the drain plug.
