Refer to Figure 1-1
Determine hitch category of implement being hooked up.
•
Category I hitches will have 7/8” diameter lower hitch
pins and a 3/4” diameter upper hitch pin.
•
Category II hitches will have 1 1/8” diameter lower
hitch pins and a 1” diameter upper hitch pin.
Remove 1/2” x 3” positioning pins to reposition lower
3-point hooks on the Quick Hitch. Move hooks to the
inward positions if implement is a Category 1 hitch and to
the outward positions if implement is a Category II hitch.
Replace 1/2” x 3” positioning pins and secure with cotter
hair pins.
Refer to Figure 1-3
1.
Two 320-048D lower bushings are shipped wire tied
to Kubota Skid Steer Quick Hitch. Place bushings
over implement’s lower 7/8” hitch pins. This will
provide a tighter and more secure mounting in the
two lower Quick Hitch hooks. Do not use bushings
when hitching to a Category II implement.
2.
Make certain implement’s upper and lower hitch pins
are secured.
3.
Place Quick Hitch release handles in the down
position as shown.
4.
With arms of the skid steer loader lowered, carefully
move loader up to (Cat. I or Cat. II) implement to align
its upper and lower support hooks with implement’s
3-point hitch pins.
5.
Slowly raise skid steer loader lift arms until lower
Quick Hitch hooks lock over implement’s 3-point
hitch pins.
