2.5 Use According to the Intended Purpose
Combined with a suitable evaluation unit, the measuring system serves for the determination of
the absolute position of elevator cars. The measuring system can be used as a position and
speed sensor.
The measuring system and its evaluation unit must meet the requirements mentioned in chapter
Technical Data [
} 29].
2.6 Foreseeable Misuse
The measuring system is not suitable for the following uses:
• Under water.
• In publicly accessible areas.
• Outside of the specifications stated in the data sheet.
• In areas where more serious EMC events may occur than those defined in the standard.
2.7 Other Applicable Documents
All technical data, as well as the mechanical and electrical characteristics, are specified in the
corresponding data sheets of the products, for special versions in the.corresponding customer
drawing of the product.
