11.1 Removing the air filter housing
Note
Engine failure Unfiltered intake air has a negative effect on the service life of the engine.
–
Never ride the vehicle without an air filter since dust and dirt can get into the engine and result in increased wear.
Preparatory work
–
Fold the seat up. ( p. 62)

Pull air filter housing

up and off.

Mount air filter housing

on the intake flange.

If the air filter housing is not mounted correctly, dust and dirt may enter the
engine and cause damage.
Finishing work
–
Lock the seat. ( p. 62)
