Loosen the screws

by four turns.
Alternative 1

Insert the tool

from the tool set into the hole

of the rear wheel eccentric ele-
ment.
Alternative 2
–
Use a special tool on the rear wheel eccentric.
Hook wrench (83019011000)

To adjust the chain tension

, use the special tool to slowly turn at the rear wheel to
rotate the rear wheel eccentric element forward or backward.
Guideline
Chain tension 140… 145 mm (5.51… 5.71 in)
Info
Rotating the rear wheel eccentric element forward increases chain tension.
Rotating the rear wheel eccentric element backward reduces chain tension.
The rear wheel eccentric element should always be positioned such that the
grease nipple

is visible. This ensures that the vehicle has the greatest ground
clearance.
