Place the relevant end of the charging lead into the socket located at the bottom rear.

Using a 100 to 240 volt AC: Insert the charger into a safe working AC outlet (the outlet needs to be on a protected circuit/ circuit breaker/
RCD).

To avoid long term damage to the battery of the EX Series EXIN LIGHTS, it is advised that you do not leave the EX90L-S on charge for longer
than 48 hours after a full recharge (7-8 hours) has been achieved. Failure to do so will void your warranty.
9.
When fully charged the EX90L-S will switch to a trickle mode. Please Note: If disconnected from the charger and not used for prolonged
periods, the battery will start to discharge. You must charge the battery at least once every three (3) months when not in use or being
stored.
10.
The cap which covers the charge points must be replaced securely prior to re-use of the EX90L-S Series.
11.
Never charge the unit in a hazardous environment (E.g. a wet environment poses numerous risks including electrocution).
Betriebsanleitung
Vor Inbetriebnahme des EXIN LIGHT EX90L-S stellen Sie bitte folgende Punkt sicher:
1.
Platzieren Sie das EXIN LIGHT EX90L-S auf einer festen und ebenen Oberfläche.
2.
Drücken Sie den Knopf in der Mitte des Tragegriffes herunter und ziehen Sie den Griff vollständig nach oben.
3.
Nach Loslassen des Knopfes hören und fühlen Sie, wie die Verriegelungsstifte einrasten. Wenn der Griff nicht mehr nach oben oder
unten bewegt werden kann, befindet sich das EXIN LIGHT in verriegelter Position.
Verwendung des Funktionsschalters der EX90L-S
Der AN/AUS
–
Knopf (Schwarz) und der Knopf für die Auswahl des Blinkmodus (Rot) befinden sich an der Unterseite des LED
–
Leuchtkopfes.
Drücken Sie den schwarzen AN/AUS

Das EXIN LIGHT EX90L-S blinkt einmal alle zwei Sekunden.
Kippen des Leuchtkopfes
Der Winkel des Leuchtkopfes kann um 60° abwärts geregelt werden. Um dies zu erreichen, wird der Leuchtkopf nach vorne gekippt, indem Sie
von hinten den unteren Teil der Rückseite zu sich ziehen. Der Leuchtkopf muss in Position zurückgebracht werden, indem Sie vor dem EXIN
LIGHT stehen und den unteren Teil der Vorderseite zu sich ziehen, bevor die Leuchte geschlossen werden kann.
Schließen des EXIN LIGHTS
Um das EXIN LIGHT zu schließen, drücken Sie den Knopf in der Griffmitte, halten Sie diesen gedrückt, lassen Sie die Kappe herunter bis die
Kappe die Spitze des Leuchtkopfes erreicht, lassen Sie den Knopf los und Sie werden hören und fühlen, wie die Seitenstifte einrasten. Das Gerät
ist nun geschlossen und Sie können das voll integrierte, für einen neuen Arbeitseinsatz bereite EXIN LIGHT tragen.
Operating Instructions
When setting up the EX Series EXIN Light please:
1.
Ensure that it is placed on a firm level surface.
2.
Push the button in the middle of the handle and pull the handle upwards to raise the Light Head to full height.
3.
Once you have released the push button in the middle of the handle, you will hear and feel the locking pins go into place, if the handle
cannot move up or down you are in the locked position.
Using the Function Switch of the EX90L-S
The ON/OFF switch (black), and the switch for the light head flash mode (red), are located on the underside of the light head.
Press the black main power ON/OFF switch to power ON the EX90L-S, this will activate every second LED row (energy-saving mode).
Each time you press the red function switch, the functions of the EX90L-S will change as follows:
1st Press-This will activate an alternative energy-saving mode
2nd Press-This will activate the full-power mode
3rd Press-This will activate the flash function of the first energy-saving mode
4th Press-This will activate the flash function of the second energy-saving mode
5th Press-This will activate the flash function of the full-power mode
6th Press-This will bring you back to the beginning of the functions (energy-saving mode)
The EX series EXIN LIGHTs will flash at a speed of 1 flash every 2 seconds.
Tilting the Light Head
The angle of the Light Head can be adjusted by 60° downwards; this can be achieved by tilting the Light Head forward (only) by standing at the
back of the EXIN LIGHT and pulling the bottom of the back side of the Light Head towards you. The Light Head must be put back into position (by
standing in front of the EXIN LIGHT and pulling the bottom of the front side of the Light Head towards you) before the EXIN LIGHT can be closed.
Closing the EXIN LIGHT
To close the EXIN LIGHT, push the button in the middle of the carry handle, hold in, lower the lid of the Light until the lid meets the top of the
body of the EXIN LIGHT and release the button. You will hear and feel the locking pins go into place. Once it is locked in the closed position it
allows you to carry the fully integrated EXIN LIGHT, ready for the next job.

WARNUNG:

Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Ladegerät, um das EXIN Light aufzuladen. Es dürfen keine nicht standardisierten Ladegeräte für das
EXIN Light benutzt werden, weil dadurch die Leuchte beschädigt werden kann und Ihre Garantie in diesem Falle erlischt.

Die Batterie darf niemals vollständig entladen werden, da das zu Dauerschäden der Batterie führen kann.
•
Die Batterie muss kühl und trocken gelagert werden.
•
Hohe Temperaturen und eine feuchte Umgebung beschleunigen die Selbstentladungsrate.
•
Überprüfen Sie den Ladezustand der Batterie mit einem digitalen Messgerät. Laden Sie das EXIN Light auf, wenn die Spannung unter 9 Volt
liegt.

Der LED

Battery & LED Performance
The Battery life cycle of the EXIN Light is approximately 400 life cycles when charged according to the instructions in this Manual. The Battery is
purpose built and is an encapsulated Ni-MH battery and does not need water or service, only to be charged in accordance with the instructions
provided.
The LED light source has approximately 60.000 life hours when the light is used in accordance with this manual.
WARNING:
•
Never use a non-standard charger for the EXIN Light. This may damage the light and void your warranty.
•
Never leave the battery fully discharged; this may permanently damage the battery.
•
The battery must be stored in a cool, dry environment.
•
High temperatures or wet environments will increase the self-discharge rate.
•
Lead acid batteries must always be kept in a fully charged condition.
•
Check the battery voltage with a good digital volt meter every 3 months and charge if it falls below 9 Volts.
•
Since the LED lens enclosure uses anti-static coating, care should be taken to avoid rubbing and contact with organic dissolvent, such as
ethanol.
