The drive shaft of the gear unit is readily accessible.

The protective caps have been removed from the shaft and the propeller-end
mechanical seal.
1. Rotate the drive shaft so that key 940 points upwards.
2. Guide propeller 23-9 onto the shaft end so that the keyway in the hub aligns
with key 940.
3. Slip the propeller onto the shaft until it will not go any further.
4. Coat the thread of screw 914.06 and the face of disc 550.01 which rests against
the propeller with thread-locking agent.
5. Fit screw 914.06 and disc 550.01. (
