1. SAFETY WARNINGS
Please read these instructions carefully. They will give you important advice for the use,
security and maintenance of the appliance. Keep the instructions carefully and, should
the situation arise, pass them on to further users. The appliance must only be used for
the intended purpose according to these instructions. This appliance is not meant for
commercial use only exclusively for private use. Observe the notes on safety regulations.
Dispose the packaging properly.
ො Only connect the appliance to a single-phase socket with a main voltage as specified
on the rating plate.
ො This appliance must not be used by persons (including children) with physical, sensory
or mental impairments unless they have been instructed in its correct use by a respon-
sible adult.
ො Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
ො Do not use the appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swim-
ming pool.
ො Do not use the appliance with a programmer, timer or any other device that switched
the heater on automatically. It is because fire risk exists if the heater is covered or po-
sitioned incorrectly.
ො Do not cover up the cable or run it under the carpet. Make sure that the cable is out of
the way and not likely to trip anyone up.
ො Do not position the appliance in close proximity to curtains or other combustible ma-
terials.
ො Keep combustible material such as furniture, bedding and any other combustible mate-
rials at least 30cm from the appliance.
ො Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. If the appliance or plug
should accidently become wet, disconnect the power immediately and have the appli-
ance checked by an electrician before using it again. Never attempt to open the appli-
ance yourself.
ො If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
ො Never pull the plug out of the socket with wet hands.
ො This appliance is not suitable for commercial use.
ො Do not use the appliance outdoors.
ො Never leave the appliance unattached while it is in use.
ො Keep the appliance out of the reach of children while in function and cooling.
ො Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and each time
before it is cleaned.
ො Never use the cable to carry the appliance.
