Adjusting the spray pattern
Fig. 8: Adjusting the spray pattern
1.
Open the adjusting nut (Fig. 8/3) of the needle stroke adjustment maximum 5.5 mm (Fig. 8).
To do so, turn the adjusting nut (Fig. 8/3) counter-clockwise.
2.
Completely close the flat jet regulator (Fig. 8/1).
3.
Completely open the round jet control (Fig. 8/2).
Do not close the round jet regulator (Fig. 8/2) completely during operation.
4.
Adjust the flat jet on the flat jet regulator (Fig. 8/1).
5.
Continue adjusting settings on the regulators (Fig. 8/1 and 2) until the desired spray pattern
is achieved.
It is recommended that you only adjust the spray pattern with the regulators (Fig. 8/1
and 2). The fluid quantity should only be changed if the desired spray pattern cannot
be adjusted with the regulators (Fig. 8/1 and 2). A limited fine adjustment, e.g. for the
adjustment of several spray guns in a system, can be made using the adjustment nut
(Fig. 8/3).
In order to obtain reproducible settings, the zero point should be checked and if neces-
sary set after each maintenance (
