Overview
The
6241N 4x1 SDI Switcher
is a high-performance switcher for serial
digital video signals. It takes any one of four SDI inputs, provides
reclocking and equalization, and outputs the signal to one SDI output.
The
6241N
features:

A maximum data rate up to 540Mbps

SMPTE 259M and 344M compliance
•
Adjustment-free operation
•
Automatic equalization for losses on 75
Ω
coaxial cable

Reclocking the input signal to provide a low-jitter serial digital
output
•
8-bit and 10-bit video operation, automatically recognizing the word
length
To achieve the best performance:
•
Use only good quality connection cables

Avoid interference from neighboring electrical appliances that
may adversely influence signal quality and position your Kramer
6241N
away from moisture, excessive sunlight and dust
to avoid interference,
deterioration in signal quality due to poor matching, and elevated
noise levels (often associated with low quality cables).
