SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read this manual carefully before using the appliance. The use of this dishwasher for
other purposes, violation of the rules of installation, operation, cleaning and safety rules deprives
you of the right to guarantee service. The dishwasher is designed for home household and similar
applications.
Attention!
Qualified personnel must only install the appliance!
• This appliance has been designed for non-professional use by private individuals in their
homes. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use. Do not use it for other purposes.
• Remove the appliance packaging and make sure that it is not damaged. Do not leave the
packaging unguarded, both for the safety of children and for the protection of the environment,
but dispose of it in a center for differentiated waste.
• Before using the appliance, check that the mains power voltage corresponds to the voltage
shown on the rating label.
• Do not use adapters, multi-plugs or extension cords.
• Plug the power cord into an outlet only after installing the appliance. Make sure the power plug
is freely accessible.
• Inspect the appliance before turning on. If the dishwasher and the power cord are damaged, do
not plug the appliance into a power outlet.
• The dishwasher shall be set in dry location, use of the appliance on the street is forbidden.
Do not use the appliance outdoors. Do not expose it to rain, moisture, direct sunlight or other
atmospheric conditions. Do not install or operate the appliance at temperatures below 0 °C.
• In order to avoid ignition and electric shock prevent hit of water on any part of the dishwasher.
• Do not use the appliance with a damaged power cord or socket. The user must not replace the
electric power cable of the appliance. A qualified electrician must only replace it.
• Do not damage, do not overwind and do not bend the power cord. Do not put heavy objects
on the power cord.
• If the power cord is damaged, the manufacturer or its service agent or a similar qualified
person must replace it in order to avoid a hazard.
• Never pull for a power cord, you hold for a fork.
• In case of relocation, maintenance or repair, the appliance must be switched off and the plug
must be removed from the mains.
• Young children must be kept well away from the appliance.
• This appliance may be used by children from 8 years of age onwards and by persons with
reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities, or who lack experience and knowledge so
long as they are properly supervised or have been trained on how to use the appliance safely
and are aware of the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance. The appliance
must not be cleaned or serviced by unsupervised children.
• Appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction.
• If an abnormal situation arises (like a burning smell), immediately turn off the unit and
disconnect the power. Call your dealer for instructions to avoid electric shock, fire or injury.
• Do not operate the dishwasher in places near or around combustible gases. Emitted gas may
collect around the unit and cause explosion.
• Do not operate the dishwasher in a wet room such as a bathroom or laundry room. Too much
exposure to water can cause electrical components to short circuit.
• Do not operate the dishwasher with wet hands. This may cause electric shock.
• Do not use appliance for any other purpose than its intended use.
• Do not sit on or stand on the door of the dishwasher.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the door when it is open. The appliance could tip forward.
• The door should not be left open, since this could increase the risk of tripping.
• Do not operate your dishwasher unless all enclosure panels are properly in place.
• Open the door very carefully if the dishwasher is operating; there is a risk of water squirting
out.
• Do not leave the door open, because this increases the risk of tripping. When loading items to
be washed locate sharp items so that they are not likely to damage the door seal. Knives and
other utensils with sharp points must be loaded in the basket with their points facing down or
placed in a horizontal position.
• Some dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline. They can be extremely dangerous if
swallowed. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes and keep children away from the dishwasher
when the door is open. Check that the detergent powder is empty after completion of the wash
cycle.
• Do not wash plastic items unless they are marked “dishwasher safe” or the equivalent. For
unmarked plastic items not so marked, check the manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Use only detergent and rinse agents recommended for use in an automatic dishwasher. Never
use soap, laundry detergent, or hand washing detergent in your dishwasher. Keep these
substances out of the reach of children.
• The appliance needs to be connected to the main water valve using new hose sets. Old sets
should not be reused.
• Do not exceed the maximum number of places to wash.
• To save energy, in stand by mode, the appliance will switch off automatically while there is no
any operation in 30 minutes.
• Do not install the appliance near heat sources (radiators, stoves, or other devices that
generate heat) and do not install it under the hob.
• Keep children and pets away from the open dishwasher, as it may contain small or sharp
objects.
• The water inside the dishwasher is not suitable for drinking. It may contain detergent residues.
• Make sure that children do not play with the detergent tablet compartment (from which the
detergent enters the car). The child’s fingers may be stuck in the slots of the compartment.
• Keep the appliance clean. Do not clean the dishwasher with excessive amounts of water.
• Do not use sharp metal scrapers, caustic or abrasive cleaners, or solvents to clean the
dishwasher surfaces, as they may scratch or damage the dishwasher.
• Do not clean the dishwasher with a jet of steam. Do not clean with combustible cleaning
agents. Combustible cleaning agents can cause fire or deformation.
• Failure to observe this safety instruction may result in damage to the instrument, burns, injury,
electric shock, short circuit or fire.
• Any repair or regulation that may be necessary must be carried out with the greatest care
and attention. Always call an authorized Technical Assistance Center if repairs are required,
specifying the type of problem and the model of your appliance. Repairs made by incompetent
persons could cause damage.
• Only original spare parts use for appliance repair.
