How does Pest Patrol work?
Just plug Pest Patrol into an electrical outlet and Pest Patrol immediately
goes to work to control your pest problem. Pest Patrol combines two
proven pest control systems:“electromagnetic” interference and ultra-
sonic sound. Pest Patrol drives pests away with “electromagnetic” inter-
ference by affecting their central nervous systems, and causes auditory
stress with the Ultrasound feature. Pest Patrol will alter the pests’ normal
functions and cause them to leave your home.
ELECTROMAGNETIC FEATURE:
Just plug the unit into an outlet and this new technology starts working
by altering the normal field around your existing electrical wiring, creat-
ing an environment that aids in the control of pests in the walls, floor and
ceilings where the majority of pest problems exists. This feature works
throughout the walls of the house.
ULTRASONIC FEATURE:
The Electromagnetic feature will help to control the pest problem in your
walls. However, the ultrasonic feature is designed to control household
pests within the living area. It helps repel the flying insects and other
pests in your home.
Ultrasound may affect rodent pets just as it affects unwanted rodents. It
is recommended to keep rodent pets (mice, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits)
in a separate, closed-off area of the home, away from the ultrasonic
effect of Pest Patrol. If your rodent pet will be temporarily in the same
room with Pest Patrol, you can turn the ultrasonic feature OFF using the
switch on the side of the unit. The green light will turn off when the ultra-
sound is not active.
16. How much electricity does Pest Patrol use?
Power consumption is minimal. Pest Patrol uses just pennies worth of
electricity a day to operate. Tests have shown that Pest Patrol costs
about the same to operate as a 4 watt night light bulb.
17. Is Pest Patrol effective against termites?
Pest Patrol affects most pests to varying degrees. Termites live in the
wood of a structure and their exposure to ultrasonic sound is limited.
18. Can Pest Patrol be plugged in using a power adapter
or extension cord?
Yes.
19. Test Button
When the Pest Patrol is plugged into a power outlet, pushing the test
button will lower the ultrasonic frequencies to an audible human level.
Pushing the test button will allow you to hear the different ultrasonic fea-
tures. To avoid hearing damage, do not use the Test button for long peri-
ods of time and do not allow children to play with the test switch.
