WARNING
This is an AC device and all precautions observed for
household AC outlets and appliances apply. Choose
a higher rated inverter than the rating of the
appliances you wish to use.
You will VOID THE WARRANTY if:
-you reverse polarity of the input wires
-the input voltage exceeds 15 VDC
Basic Operation
Connect the DC input wires to the battery,
carefully observing the polarity of the wires and
terminals. The KTP-12-150 can be plugged into a
negative ground cigarette lighter socket, ensure that
the socket is fused for 20 Amps and the wiring is
capable of carrying the current. Connect the plug of
the AC appliance to the socket of the inverter. Turn on
the inverter power switch; the green LED will light up
to indicate that AC power is present. Switch on the
AC appliance.
A 'low battery alarm' will sound when the
battery voltage drops to 10.5 volts, and the inverter
will shutdown at 10 volts. You should turn off your
appliance, disconnect the inverter, and recharge the
battery as soon as the alarm sounds.
