7.2.4.
LED Control Indicators
The V panel Express is equipped with two LED indicators (Fig. 10, pos. 2 and 3) (bottom, rear side, Fig. 8, pos. 5).
Lights up
green
when the system is powered on via the power button.
Power LED
Lights up
red
when the system is in standby (depends on the behavior of the power button (BIOS Setup
setting).
HDD LED
Lights up red for hard disk activity.
7.2.4.1.
Power LED Error Codes
The power LED (Fig. 10, pos. 3) shows the on/off state of the system and four important malfunction conditions of the
system:

These errors will be notified by the blinking of the Power LEDs and by a beeper. The following illustration shows the blink
for different conditions.
The audible warning signal is in an inverted phase to the LED blinking (Power O.K. without beep).
If more than one malfunction condition occurs simultaneously, only the highest priority error code will be shown.
The priority order is:
1.
most Voltage Error
2.
less Temperature Error
3.
less Fan Error
4.
at least Battery Error
If more than one error occurs at the same time, only the error with the highest priority will be displayed.
7.2.5.
CompactFlash™ Slot (with optional installed CF Card)
The V Panel Express is equipped with a bottom side accessible CompactFlash™ slot with eject button (Fig. 8, pos. 18). The
CF slot will accept only CF cards type I. The second CF slot (Fig. 8, pos. 15) is not equipped.
The system must be powered down before the Compact Flash™ card can be installed or removed.
CF slots (CF1 or CF2 or both) without installed CF card are covered by a slot cover as shown in
Fig. 8, pos. 15.
