5.1.6.
Installing an mSATA SSD
To have access to the mSATA slots please proceed according to the steps described:
1.
Open the device as described in the subsection 5.1 “Opening and Closing the KBox A-103” (step 1-4).
2.
Locate the mSATA slot (J17) (Figure 23, pos. 17) and the corresponding fixing bolts. (Figure 23, pos. 18).
3.
Align the notches on the mSATA SSD with the notches in the mSATA slot (J17). Insert the mSATA SSD into the
corresponding slot (Figure 23, pos. 17) and rotate it down with the fixing holes of the card over the fixing bolts.
4.
Press the mSATA SSD down on the side with the fixing holes and secure it with the available fastening screws
(Figure 23, pos. 18).
5.
In order to close the KBox A-103, proceed in reverse order.
5.1.7.
Installing the SIM Card
1.
Open the device as described in the subsection 5.1 “Opening and Closing the KBox A-103” (step 1-4).
2.
Locate SIM card socket (Figure 23, pos. 6).
3.
To unlock the SIM card socket slide the cover of the SIM socket towards inside of the device (see arrows in Figure
28).
4.
Lift gently the slot cover and open the slot cover as shown in Figure 29.
5.
Slide the SIM card (Figure 30) into the left and right card guides of the socket cover and push down the cover in
order to close the cover (refer to Figure 31).
6.
After closing the cover, lock the cover by sliding the closed cover in the direction shown in Figure 32.
