Konica Remote Battery Pack
The Konica Remote Battery Pack is an accessory de-
signed exclusively for the Konica FS-1. Containing the
batteries and keeping them warm, this pack makes it pos-
sible to prevent a drop in the performance of the batteries
loaded in a Konica FS-1, when pictures are taken at a
cold place.
• Use AA alkaline batteries. Nickel cadmium batteries
of the recharging type are not usable.
Use
1) Slide the battery chamber cover to detach it from the
battery chamber. Put four AA alkaline batteries while
taking note of the marks for plus and minus. Put back
the cover.
2) Detach the battery chamber of the camera (power grip)
and mount the power grip of the Remote Battery Pack.
3) Connect the jack of the cord which stretches out of the
grip with the tap-hole of the battery case. When the jack
is to be detached, make sure that the connector assembly
is hold tight. Do not hold the cord to detach the jack.
4) The cord is 1.5 m (5 ft.) in length. As indicated in the
figure, wind it around the case to adjust it to an appropriate
length. The manipulations for photographing will not be
hampered if the cord is stretched through the sleeve.
• For picture-taking at acold place, make sure that all four
batteries are new and of the same brand.
• When the camera is not to be used for a long time,
take out the batteries.
