INTENDED USE
- The additional load is a professional mean to increase the stability of

K&M speakers and monitor stands that are equipped with M20 base plates.
- The centrally located bore of the additional weight is used for mounting

on the stand, the additional bore enables a visually appealing cable
-
laying beneath the suitable base plates 26703, 26704, 26705 and 26706.

- For potential cable bushing there is another bore in the plate

- Dimensions: ø 325 mm, 8 mm thick, bores: ø 43 mm, weight: 5 kg

- K&M products with other dimensions, especially microphone stands with base

plates. The secure fitting of the additional weight cannot be guaranteed

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. COMPONENTS
The additional weight consists of a circular steel plate, covered with four rubber feet
(bumpons). There are no other components.
2. PREPARING The ADDITIONAL WEIGHT
Please carry out a visual inspection to ensure that all parts are complete and - if
recognizable - in order. Damaged parts must not be reused, they must be replaced
or repaired by qualified personnel.
3. PREPARING THE STANDS/BASE PLATES
3.1
If necessary, detach the base plate from the stand tube and place it on a suitable

surface.
3.2
Carry out a visual inspection of the base plates. Defective bases must not be used;
3.2
they should be replaced or repaired by qualified personnel.
3.3
There should be no objects, dirt etc. on the base plate; we recommend a thorough
3.3
cleaning before using the additional weight.
4. MOUNTING THE ADDITIONAL WEIGHT
4.1
Place the additional weight on the base plate with the rubber feet downwards.
4.2
Align the additional weight so that the central hole is exactly located above the
4.2
likewise central M20 screw socket of the base plate.
4.3
Position the base tube with M20 threaded bolts and screw it into the socket plate
4.3
whilst readjusting the position of the additional weight if necessary.
4.4 WARNING! DANGER OF TILTING IN CASE OF FAULTY INSTALLATION
4.4.1
Make sure that the base tube is inserted into the bore hole of the additional
4.4.1
weight and is screwed gap free to the base plate (0).
4.4.2
Check condition whilst slightly lifting the additional weight.
4.4.3
If the additional weight has shoved itself between the base plate and the
4.4.3
base tube there will be gap (X) which prevents a secure screw-fitting.
