USER INSTRUCTIONS

TO PLACE THE INSTRUMENT ON THE STAND

FIRST ADJUST THE STAND

Ensure that the knurled knob under the cone is

tightened.

Loosen the sleeve grip

Pull up the extension including the cone until  

6

almost entirely extended

and re-tighten the

sleeve grip

PLACE THE INSTRUMENT ON THE HOLDER

Position the bell of the instrument on the cone

support while continuing to hold the instrument 

7

firmly with one hand

Loosen the knurled knob with the other hand and

continue to hold this too

Now slowly move the cone support plus instrument

down until...

... the rubber ball fits comfortably in the bell funnel  

NOTE: the cone support takes the weight of the

trombone whereas the rubber ball is merely to

Fix the position by tightening the knurled knob

TO ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE STAND

If the trombone slide is too far from the ground, we

recommend lowering the extension slightly.

To do this take hold of the extension under the 

13

cone...

Release the sleeve grip with the other hand...

Allow the extension to retract slowly...

...and retighten the sleeve grip

You will now have a lower centre of gravity and a
more stable stand.

MAINTENANCE, CARE

- be aware of the danger of pinching or knocking 

-

when maintaining the stand.

- to clean the stand use a slightly damp cloth and 

-

non-abrasive cleaning agent.

C: Check the ground, tighten the pedestal knob
