Risks during assembly
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the product may
lead to injuries.
■
Follow all assembly instructions as in-
correct assembly may result in seri-
ous injury.
■
Before unpacking the awning, make
sure that you have all the required
tools and enough space in a clean,
dry area.
■
Do not use sharp or pointed objects
to unpack it.
■
During assembly, observe the maxi-
mum loads permitted for the non-re-
tractable parts of the awning (see
‘Technical data’).
■
Assembly must be carried out by at
least 2 people.
■
Do not assemble the awning in a place
that is subject to vibrations or shocks.
■
Install the awning on fi rm, level
ground.
■
Do not install the awning over an
electric heater, a cooking area or on a
wall near a radiator or fi replace.
■
Check that the number and type of
bolts and nuts specifi ed in the package
contents have actually been supplied.
■
Make sure that only the bolts and
nuts supplied are used.
■
Check regularly that all fi xing screws
and safety devices are properly in-
stalled and tightened.
■
Do not change the design or confi g-
uration of the frame or any safety
devices without consulting the man-
ufacturer or an authorised represent-
ative. Doing so may result in a dan-
gerous situation.

Improper handling of the product can
lead to damage to property.
■
Never use a steam cleaner for clean-
ing.
■
The cover is not suitable for machine
washing, dry cleaning or bleaching.
■
Do not use harsh chemical cleaners or
liquids, solutions, abrasive substanc-
es or objects, bleach, high-pressure
cleaners and strong detergents.
■
Only retract the awning when it is dry.
