(2) Fix the hard disk support materials (two places
each) from the front side of the board cover
using the shoulder screws. (Shoulder screw: 4
pcs.)
(3) Fix the hard disk to the hard disk support mate-
rial. (Shoulder screw: 4 pcs.)
(4) Connect the flat cable to the hard disk.
Note:
When connecting the flat cable to the hard disk
connect so that the red line on the flat cable is at
the #1 pin side.
5. Connect the flat cable connector to the system
board and install the board cover to the main
body. (4 screws)
Note:
Be careful of the direction of the connector when
connecting the hard disk flat cable to the system
board. The red line should be on the top.
6. Affix the cushion to the position shown in the fig-
ure below on the back side of the machine Back
cover.
7. Reinstall the back cover(6 screws).

1. Turn on the machine's sub and main power
switches.
2. Press the “Utility/Counter” key.
3. On the [Utility/Counter] screen, touch
“Details” and press the keys in the following
order [Stop]+[0]+[0]+[Stop]+[0]+[1] to enter
[Service Mode].
4. Touch “System 2”.
5. Touch “Option”.
6. Select “Installed” of HDD and touch “OK”.
7. Turn OFF the Sub and Main power switches.
