11.9 Printer Adjustment
11.9.1 Media adjustment
The print image can be adjusted for each type of paper that is used.

Display the Administrator Management screen.
– For details on displaying the Administrator Management screen, refer to
"Displaying the
Administrator Management screen" on page 11-19 .

Touch [System Settings].
The System Settings screen appears.

Touch [Expert Adjustment].
The Expert Adjustment screen appears.

Touch [Printer Adjustment].
The Printer Adjustment screen appears.

Touch [Media adjustment].
The Media adjustment screen appears.

Touch the button for the paper type to be set.
– If the image is distorted with single-sided copying, select a paper type below "Font".
– If the image on the back side is distorted with double-sided copying, select a paper type below
"Back".

Touch [+] or [-], and then use the keypad to specify a setting between -8 and +7. An adjustment is
possible if the size of the white areas in missing print or the white spots is 0.5 mm or less.
– For missing print or white spots in the print image,
specify a setting more toward the - end of the range.
