C. Operation flow
1.
The initial fusing speed is set to the low speed, thereby forming a loop in the paper
between the 2nd transfer roller and fusing rollers.
2.
When the length of the loop formed in the paper becomes greater, the fusing paper
loop sensor is activated (blocked).
3.
While the fusing paper loop sensor remains activated, the fusing speed is kept at
the high level.
4.
When the fusing paper loop sensor is deactivated, the fusing speed is immediately
switched to the low level.
5.
The sequence of these operations is repeated so that the fusing speed is changed
automatically according to the loop length. This effectively makes for the difference
between the fusing speed and paper conveyance speed during image transfer.
