Turning the XPR system on/off
Turning on the XPR system
Once you have verified that all cables have been properly installed and that the supply
power is correct, you can turn on the system.
Context
After power-on the Processing Unit will go through an initialization phase. Then the
leftmost LED is red. This will turn green when the system is operational.
The Sensor Unit starts to operate when it is connected to a power source.
Procedure

Check that the S1 switch on the Local interface rail is ON.

Verify that Q1 is switched ON, if Q1 is used to power the system monitor.

Turn on the Processing Unit by pressing the power switch located behind the lid
at the front of the unit.
The system will now start up automatically in Standby mode.
Turning off the XPR system
Shut down the XPR system when you do not operate the system.
Procedure

Turn the Sensor Unit off by disconnecting it from its power source. No special
precaution is needed.

Turn off the Processing Unit by pressing the ON/OFF button under the lid at the
front of the unit.
