Defining receiver parameters for the PI50 and PI60 Receiver
Units

The

Receiver

dialog box allows you to set up the detailed parameters for the signal

reception. It allows you to "fine tune" the receiver for optimal performance. Sea
conditions vary, sometimes drastically. The acoustic conditions are also changing.

Prerequisites

• The TV80 software is installed on the Processor Unit.

• The new device is physically connected to the Processor Unit using a serial cable.

• The communication parameters required for the device interface are known.

• Without a valid license, your TV80 system will not show real time data from the

catch monitoring sensors.

Procedure

Open the

Setup

menu.

On the

Setup

menu, select

Installation

.

Observe that the

Installation

dialog box opens.

Observe the

I/O Setup

page on the right side of the

Installation

dialog box.

Every interface is presented as a small "block diagram".

On the relevant serial line communication, select the receiver icon.

The

Receiver

dialog box opens.

Make the necessary adjustments. Refer to the product accompanying documentation
