Defining the folder settings for data recording
A very useful function of the TV80 system is it ability to record and replay catch
monitoring sensor data. In
File Setup
you can define the destination folders for every
file you can save with the TV80.
Context
The
Record
function allows you to record the data submitted by the catch monitoring
sensors. The data are saved on the hard disk, or on an external data storage device,
according to the preferences you have defined. Information about the data and time of
the recording is automatically added to the file name.
Tip
The data files will normally become very large. If you wish to record large amounts of
data, make sure that you have enough space on your hard disk. Unless your computer is
equipped with a very large disk, we recommend that you save the data to an external
storage device.
Set up the folder parameters before you start the recording. If you wish to save your
recorded data on an external hard disk, make sure that it is connected to the computer.
The
Record
function is located on the
Operation
menu.
Procedure

icon.

menu.
