System Protection page
The
Recording
protection stops the recording automatically when the transducer is
hoisted to its upper position. The
Timer
function stops the recording automatically
when the specified time has elapsed. This page is located in the
Installation
dialog box.
To open the page, select
Installation
on the
Setup
menu.

Hull Unit
Hull Unit
is located on the left side of the top bar. Select it to open the
Hull Unit
dialog box.
Description
The
Hull Unit Control
dialog box allows you to lower and hoist the transducer. The dialog
box also provides status information about the transducer position. You can monitor the
current position of the transducer, and make changes to the position defaults. The current
position of the transducer is shown on the top bar. The colour is used to provide status
information.
• Red colour: The hull unit is disconnected.
• Green colour: The hull unit is connected and available for use.
• Grey colour: The hull unit is connected and in use.
A warning message is displayed if a malfunction occurs while you are lowering or hoisting
the transducer. Select
Acknowledge
to accept the message. Investigate the cause of the
error message before you proceed.
