About this manual

The purpose of this manual is to present the descriptions and drawings required to install
the K-Sync Synchronization Unit.

Target audience

The manual is intended for technical personnel; such as skilled shipyard workers,
electricians, qualified engineers and naval architects. It is assumed that you understand
the general principles of maritime electronic equipment. You must also be familiar with
computer hardware, interface technology and installation of electronic and mechanical
products.

We assume that you are familiar with the basic acoustic principles of sound in water.
