About this manual
The purpose of this manual is to provide the information, procedures and basic drawings
required for the physical installation of the Flexview.
Target audience
The manual is intended for technical personnel. You are expected to have basic mechanical
skills and familiarity with handling of sensitive electronic equipment. You must also be
familiar with computer hardware, interface technology and installation of electronic and
mechanical products.
We assume that you are familiar with the basic acoustic principles of sound in water.
Familiarity with multibeam echo sounder and survey techniques are also recommended.
License information
The Flexview Software is included with the Flexview system and updates are available free
of charge and can be downloaded from:
http://www.km.kongsberg.com/mesotechsoftware .
