CLEANING AND PREVENTIVE MAIN-

CAUTION
The cleaning and user service
should not be carried out by chil-
dren who unsupervised.
n
The surface can be damaged by
sharp or scrubbing cleaning
agents. Never use sharp or scrub-
bing cleaning agents. Obtain the
appropriate cleaning and protec-
tion agents for your device from
the authorized service. The sur-
face of the device and control units
are sensitive to scratching.
n
Clean the surfaces with a soft,
damp cloth, dishwashing detergent
or a mild glass cleaning agent.
Soften dried and hardened dirt
with a damp cloth. Do not scrape!
n
Using dry cloths, sponges that
may scratch, agents that require
rubbing, cleaning agents con-
taining sand, soda, acid or chlorine
or other strong materials is not
appropriate.
n
Clean stainless steel surfaces only
in the direction of the grinding.
n
Do not use stainless steel cleaning
agents and wet cloths on the con-
trol units. Cleaning metallic oil fil-
ters: Used metallic oil filters trap
oily particles contained within the
humidity and steam in the kitchen.
Under normal usage (1-2 hours
daily), clean the metallic oil filters
approximately every three months.

Do not use excessively strong,
acidic or chlorine containing
cleaning agents.
n
While cleaning the metallic oil filter,
also clean the trapping arrange-
ments of the metallic oil filters in
the device with a damp cloth.
n
You can wash the metallic oil filters
in the dishwasher or by hand.
