The OTDR provides six functional modules: OTDR, VFL, Settings, File management, Open,

3.5.1
Trace Pane of the OTDR
The trace pane shows the last trace that is measured by the OTDR.
After the OTDR completes a measurement, the reflection power is displayed as the
function of the distance. The diagram in which the power varies with the distance is defined
as a trace.
The measurement result of the OTDR is displayed as a graphic on the screen. The vertical
axis represents the power, whereas the horizontal axis represents the distance, as shown
in Figure 3-5.
