Adjustment
• Bring the levelling plate
i
into a horizontal
position by turning the adjustment screws
u
and
use of the adjustment spirit level
t
.
Notice:
The water bubble of the spirit level
t
must be
located between the two markings.
• Place the Laser Spirit Level in the mounting base
j
and fix it firmly with the securing clamp
k
. If
need be, correct the adjustment.
• Loosen the securing screw
2!
, then swivel the
levelling plate
i
complete with the Laser Spirit
Level through 90°
y
, by means of the 360°
angle scale.
• Readjust the horizontal by turning the adjustment
screws
u
and with use of the adjustment spirit
level
t
. A readjustment may be necessary after
the return swivel.
Notice:
The water bubble of the spirit level
w
must also be
located between the two markings.
• On the competion of successful adjustment, the
laser beam is always at the same height when
the Laser Spirit Level is swivelled by means of the
360° angle scale
y
.
• Height adjustment is accomplished by turning the
crank
o
on the tripod.
Operation
Caution!
This appliance contains a Class 2 laser.
NEVER direct the laser beam at people or
animals. NEVER look directly into the laser. The la-
ser can cause serious eye damage.
Normal operation (Fig. 1)
This measuring method is suitable for indicating
measuring points.
• Switch on the laser of the beforehand adjusted
Laser Spirit Level by turning the ON/OFF switch
.
• Using the point laser, mark the distant measuring
point. With the 360° rotatable levelling plate
i
an all-round marking is possible at the same
time.
90° Angle option (Fig. 2)
This measuring method is suitable for the marking
of vertical lines.
• Insert the laser 90° deflection attachment
;
into the laser optic
r
of the beforehand
adjusted Laser Spirit Level.
• The exactly by 90° deflected point laser produ-
ces a vertical reference level to the laser beam.
Line projection (Fig. 3)
This measuring method is especially helpful with for
example the hanging of pictures.
• Insert the laser line attachment
2)
into the laser
optic
r
of the beforehand adjusted Laser Spirit
Level.
• A line is then projected on to the wall, with
which previously
determined point-markings can be connected.
Caution:
Due to a broader spread there is a reduction in the
brightness of the laser beam.
