Assembly and placing of the
lamp
We have preassembled parts of the lamp.
First put the components together com

pletely before operating the lamp.
First take all appliance components

from the packaging and remove all
packing foil and tape.
Screw the lampshade

onto the
bulb holder

Carefully screw the bulb

clockwise
into the bulbholder
w
.
Unwrap the power cable

and in-
sert the plug into a properly installed
household mains power socket.
Secure the lamp with the clamp

at
a location that complies with the de

tails given in the safety instructions.
Turn and swivel the lamp head

in
the required direction.
Press the On/Off switch

to switch
the lamp on. The light bulb
r
will
heat up quickly - after the lamp has
been switched off do not touch the
bulb until it has cooled down, other
-
wise you will be burnt.
Press the On/Off switch

once
again to switch the lamp off.
Changing the light bulb
CAUTION!
Check to ensure that the plug has
been removed from the wall socket.
If you do not, you could receive a
potentially fatal electric shock!
If the lamp has been in use, first
allow it to cool down completely.
This avoids the potential risk of
being burnt.
Turn the bulb

anti-clockwise until it
can be removed from the bulb holder.
Insert the new light bulb

into the
bulb holder
w
and turn it clockwise
until it is firmly fitted.

lamp - risk of electric shock! Arrange
for the appliance to be repaired by
specialists only.

form of maintenance, either on or in the
