Using the Lantern
The Komodo Collapsible Solar Lantern is easy to prepare, simply pull on the handle while
holding the base to expand it, and push down to collapse.
Press the power button at the centre of the top to turn on the lantern. The three levels of
brightness can be cycled through by pressing this button again. To turn the lantern off,
simply press the button once more after level 3.
Mounting or Hanging
Included are two suction cups to help attach the lantern to windows using the holes on the
base of the lantern. Otherwise, the handle is perfect for hanging in tents or from any hooks.
Charging
Solar:
The top of the lantern is a 0.3W solar panel, and it takes 10 hours to fully charge in
sunlight. For optimal charging, ensure the lantern is positioned with direct sunlight and not
in shade.
USB:
The lantern can also be charged directly via the micro USB port on the side. Simply
connect to a 5V USB adaptor or a USB port with charging capabilities using the supplied
Micro-USB to USB cable to charge the device. 1 hour of 5V power is enough to fully charge
the lantern via USB.
