5.0 Usage of Decades
The instrument may only be connected to mains
voltage as indicated on the type label.
Attend maximum switch power !
5.1 Resistance Decade
• Set output value via switch
• Connect circuit
5.2 Capacitance Decade
• Set output value via switch
• Connect circuit
The decade will be discharged during opening of the
switch cover.
5.3 Inductance Decade
• Set output value via rotary switch
• Connect circuit
6.0 Maintenance
When using the instrument in compliance with the
instruction manual, no special maintenance is required.
Should operational problems occur during daily use, our
consulting service – phone (49) 76 84/907-0 – will be at
your disposal, free of charge.
If functional errors occur after expiration of warranty, our
after sales service will repair your instrument without delay.
6.1 Cleaning
If the instrument is dirty after daily usage, it is advised to
clean it by using a humid cloth and a mild household
detergent.
Prior to cleaning, ensure that instrumrnt is
disconnected from external circuits.
Never use acid detergents or dissolvants for
cleaning.
Do not use instrument until complete drying.
6.2 Calibration Interval
The instrument has to be periodically calibrated by our
service department in order to ensure the specified accuracy
of measurement results. We recommend a calibration
interval of two years.
