INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE ADDITIONAL
COUNTERWEIGHT

WARNING

To lift the additional counterweight, use properly dimensioned cables and avoid using worn cables or
cables with broken strands.

Do not lift the additional counterweight in any other way than described here below, since it may lose
balance.

When lifting the additional counterweight, make sure that it is correctly balanced, proceed slowly and
do not allow anyone to get near the load.

Before lifting the additional counterweight, make also sure that the eyebolts are correctly fastened to
the upper holes.

Using a crane, fit an additional ballast behind the standard one.

Fasten the additional ballast using the mounting bolts and washers.

Release the steel wire rope from the crane.

Fit the plastic caps.
