Handling and Safety Precautions
These precautions should be strictly observed in order to ensure safe,
long-term use of the product.
The following precautions should be observed particularly strictly:
1. This model is made of special silicone rubber that may be damaged if undue force is applied.
Please handle carefully.
2. If you feel something is wrong with the model, discontinue use immediately and have the
model inspected/repaired by Koken.
3. Never use oil-based pens or paint on the model, as they may not come off.
4. Discoloration of the model from ultraviolet light will occur with time. To maintain transparency
for a long time, always store the model in the box provided after use.
5. Align the left and right sides of the model properly and join firmly before pouring liquid into
the pharynx. Leakage may occur if the two sides of the model are insufficiently joined, or if
liquid is left in the model for a long period.
6. Leakage may occur when penetrative liquids are put into the pharynx. Be sure to check before
use when putting liquid into the pharynx.
Caring for the model after use
1. If the model gets dirty, wash with a neutral detergent and rinse well with water.
2. After washing, dry well before storing.
3. To clean difficult-to-remove smudges or marks, wipe with gauze or similar soft material
moistened with disinfecting ethanol.
4. Never use thinners, benzene, or similar solvents.
5. To avoid deformation of the model, store in the proper orientation.
6. Store in a place away from direct sunlight or ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet light may cause
discoloration of the model.
