1. Prepare the Site
Measure and mark 33
″
(83.8 cm) up from the floor. This will be
the height from the top of the 2x6 material to the floor.
IMPORTANT!
The 2x6 material should be the length of the vanity.
Notch the studs so the front of the 2x6 material will be flush with
the edge of the studs.
Secure the 2x6 material to the studs with framing nails.
NOTE:
Plumbing will be exposed and visible once the vanity
installation is complete. Chrome plumbing fittings are
recommended.
Install the water supply according to the roughing-in information
provided with your lavatory. The water supply nipples must
extend at least 3
″
(7.6 cm) beyond the finished wall material.
If a lavatory will be installed on your vanity, install the drain
lines according to the vanity roughing-in information.
